That means the platform is live, real people can join, and connections can start happening — but we’re still early. Very early.
And that’s intentional.
Why We Built HomeBodies
Finding long-term housing today often feels chaotic.
Tenants send dozens of messages that disappear into crowded inboxes.
Homeowners sort through inconsistent applications and scattered information.
Everyone repeats the same details over and over.
We built HomeBodies to simplify that.
Instead of inbox chaos, you create a profile.
Instead of guesswork, you match based on lifestyle and compatibility.
Instead of rewriting your story every time, you share a link.
Simple. Clear. Human.
What “Beta” Actually Means
Being in beta means:
- You may not see a lot of listings right away
- You may not see a lot of tenant profiles right away
- Features will continue to improve and evolve
- Your feedback matters (a lot)
Platforms don’t magically start full — they grow because early members believe in the idea.
Right now, we’re building momentum. And momentum takes real people.
Starting Close to Home
HomeBodies was built on Vancouver Island.
We’re intentionally starting close to home — focusing on building strong adoption locally before expanding outward.
Our plan:
- Grow organically across Vancouver Island
- Expand throughout British Columbia
- Gradually move wider across Canada
That said — you do not need to live in BC to join.
Anyone in Canada is welcome to create a profile now.
Early adopters outside BC help us understand broader needs as we grow.
What to Expect in the Early Days
In the beginning, growth looks quiet.
